How re-chargeable repairs work
Usually you must pay for repairs that are re-chargeable before they are ordered. You can get details of the cost of chargeable work by contacting us.
Rechargeable repairs may be:
- something we are responsible for repairing but damage has been caused by neglect, fault or carelessness of you, your family or visitors
- calling us out at a night or weekend and we find the fault is not an emergency
- reporting a fault to your heating or electric and it has been caused because your meter has run out of credit
- not keeping appointments
- if you leave a property and repairs are needed to items which were your responsibility, we will charge you for the work.
If you report a repair and we later find out that you should have paid for it, we will send you a bill.
