What you need to do to end your tenancy
Thank you for being a Broadacres customer and living in one of our homes. We are sorry that you are thinking about leaving us, but we know that circumstances can change. If there is anything we could do that would allow you to stay in your home, please contact your Neighbourhood Officer to discuss this.
Giving notice
Your tenancy agreement is a legal document, and you must give us notice (4 weeks) in writing if you wish to end your tenancy.
Your tenancy will always end on a Sunday, if you hand your notice in on a Wednesday the four week notice period will commence on the following Sunday and your tenancy will end four weeks later. If you are moving to another Broadacres home, then you may not need to give four weeks’ notice, however you will continue to be charged until you return your keys.
We require a signature to end your tenancy: You will need to print out the form and return it to us. Alternatively, we can post a copy to you. Your Neighbourhood Officer can also visit you to help you with completing an end of tenancy form and also inspect your property at the same time.
If you would like to end your tenancy with Broadacres, please complete the “Notice to end your Tenancy” form at the bottom of this page.
